Open fires are allowed on the camping sites but for safety reasons they need to be lit on the alter fire drums provided. Please do not light any fires on the ground. There is a a good supply of wood all year round.
Due to the lack of rain and the ground still being relatively dry. We have decided to allow alter fires at this time as long as fire blankets are put below and water is on hand to put out any fire immediately.
Below is listed the alter fires that are available, these can be pre booked just contact the booking team once you have made an online booking.
| 21 | Alter fires |
| 10 | Alter fire grills to fit |
| 13 | Oil drum fire pits |
| 3 | Heavy duty grills to fit oil drum fire pits |
| 1 | Washing machine fire pit |
